We Review NEOM: Is The NEOM Essential Oils Diffuser Worth The Hype?

NEOM Review: Is This The Best Essential Oils Diffuser You Can Buy?

Attracted by the promise of long lasting calming scents being carried pleasantly around the house, I’d been looking for the perfect essential oil diffuser on the market and one particular pod came top of the list over and over - the NEOM Essential Oils Diffuser Pod

It’s on the pricier end of the scale but after a lot of research and discovering pretty much zero bad reviews online, I decided to give it a try and see if it really is the best essential oils diffuser money can buy.

It arrived in a gorgeous NEOM branded box with several smaller boxes inside, presented beautifully like a hamper. It was incredibly easy to assemble and I had it set up and working in 5 minutes.

The first thing to mention is that it is pretty. Very pretty. It has a lovely patterned ceramic cover with a gold rim, that is quite weighty, and nice to the touch. This is a big difference from the other diffuser options on the market which are predominantly plastic.

The other standout difference between the NEOM diffuser is that it really holds its own within a space, so it actually adds to the room. Again this is something that can’t be said for other diffusers that despite their best efforts can be quite unsightly.

The pod has a warming light that you can turn on or off depending on your preference and a gentle water feature sound. The light against the ceramic creates a lovely glow which is also very soothing and creates a lovely ambience in a room. When I turned on the mist option it started working immediately and I could smell the essential oils straight away and it lasted quite a few hours after i’d finished using it, which I thought was impressive.

The diffuser came with the NEOM ‘Make You Happy’ fragrance essential oils blend which according to the description includes ‘white neroli, woody and powdery mimosa and zingy lemon, expertly blended to help you feel more positive’. It smelt amazing.

So are their any downsides? Yes, but not many.

Firstly, there is no doubt it is on the pricier side and there are other essential oil diffusers out there for less than £30. Secondly, the NEOM essential oils can add up too, at £20 each. But you can use any essential oils brand you want, you don’t have to use NEOM branded oils. You also only need about 2-3 drops of your favourite oils to fill a room with lovely aromas for hours if not days, so they will last you.

So what’s the verdict? Just like those other reviews I read, I also feel that the NEOM Essential Oils Diffuser Pod is worth the price tag. It works quickly, it works effectively, it is very good quality, and it is not just functional, it actually adds to your home as well helping to improve your well-being. It’s an item you will want to have on display, whether it’s in the bedroom, in the office, next to the television or in the kitchen. And if you’re anything like me you will use it daily.
